Bayview Bliss – Chesapeake Beach, Maryland Welcome to Bayview Bliss, a beautifully appointed coastal retreat overlooking the Chesapeake Bay. This spacious three-bedroom, two-and-a-half-bath home comfortably accommodates up to eight guests and is designed to provide the perfect blend of relaxation, comfort, and waterfront charm. The home features two king bedrooms and a third bedroom with two full beds, making it ideal for families, couples traveling together, or small groups. Large windows throughout the property fill the space with natural light and showcase stunning bay views. The open-concept living area offers plenty of room to gather, with comfortable seating, a fully equipped kitchen, and a dining area perfect for sharing meals after a day on the water. The kitchen is stocked with cookware, dinnerware, glassware, starter coffee essentials, and everything needed to prepare meals during your stay. Step outside to enjoy one of the property's most memorable features—its expansive views of the Chesapeake Bay. Relax on the covered porch, enjoy your morning coffee while watching the sunrise over the water, or unwind in the evening with a drink as boats pass by in the distance. Guests of Bayview Bliss also enjoy access to the neighborhood's private community beach. This beach is reserved exclusively for residents and their guests, offering a quieter and less crowded experience than public beaches. Access is controlled, and a beach wristband will be provided for your stay. At least one member of your group must wear the wristband while using the beach. For those looking to explore additional waterfront options, Breezy Point Beach is located just a few minutes away and offers a larger public beach experience (daily admission fees apply). North Beach is approximately a 10-minute drive from the property and features a scenic boardwalk, beach access, shops, and restaurants (daily admission fees apply to the beach). Guests will enjoy high-speed Wi-Fi, smart TV access, comfortable bedding, ample parking, and thoughtfully selected amenities designed to make every stay effortless. * *Please Note: Wi-Fi and electrical service are generally reliable, but occasional outages may occur due to weather or utility provider issues that are beyond our control. Bayview Bliss House Rules Thank you for choosing Bayview Bliss! We hope you enjoy your stay and treat our home as if it were your own. Please review and follow these house rules during your visit. 1) Occupancy • Maximum occupancy is 8 guests. • Only registered guests are permitted on the property unless prior approval has been granted. • No parties, events, or large gatherings are permitted. 2) Quiet Hours • Please respect our neighbors and community. • Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. • Excessive noise, loud music, or disruptive behavior may result in termination of your stay. 3) No Smoking • Smoking, vaping, and the use of any tobacco or cannabis products are strictly prohibited inside the home. • If smoking outdoors, please dispose of waste properly and away from the home. • Evidence of smoking inside the property will result in additional cleaning fees of $250. 4) Pets • We love animals, but unfortunately pets are not permitted at Bayview Bliss. • Bringing a pet onto the property without prior written approval is a violation of our house rules. • An additional cleaning fee of $250 will be charged for any unauthorized pets brought to the property. 5) Parking • Please park only in designated parking areas on the property. There are only 3 parking spots. Two spots are in the driveway and one spot in the grass directly in front of the house. • Do not block neighboring driveways or roadways. Parking is not permitted on the opposite side of the roadway as it belongs to the houses next door. 6) Power and Internet • While we strive to provide reliable electricity and Wi-Fi, occasional outages or interruptions may occur due to weather, utility providers, or other circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for interruptions to these services, and refunds will not be provided for outages caused by utility or internet service providers. 7) Community Beach Access • Guests have access to the private community beach located approximately two blocks from the home. • The walk to the beach includes a fairly steep asphalt hill. • Guests with limited mobility may be dropped off at the beach entrance before returning to park at the house. The beach is only a few steps from the neighborhood road once you arrive. • Please respect all community rules and neighboring properties while using the beach. • The Chesapeake Bay shoreline is a great place to search for shark teeth and other natural treasures. 8) Beach Bands • Two community beach bands are provided and will be hanging by the front door upon arrival. • Please return both beach bands before checkout. • The community charges annually for these bands, and replacements must be purchased if they are not returned. • A $15 replacement fee will be assessed for each missing beach band. Home Access & Stairs 9) Home Access • The home is elevated, and guests must use the exterior concrete staircase to access the main living area. • Please use caution on all stairs and walkways, especially during wet weather. 10) Owner's Closet • Upstairs in the hallway, you'll find a small closet labeled "Owner's Closet" secured with a keypad lock. • This closet contains personal belongings and supplies that help us maintain and enjoy the home when we're visiting. • We kindly ask that you respect this private space and leave it locked during your stay. • Thank you for helping us keep Bayview Bliss organized and ready for future guests! 11) Kitchen & Dishes • We ask that guests please clean dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen items after use. • Dishes may be hand-washed and put away or loaded into the dishwasher. • At checkout, it's perfectly fine to leave clean dishes in the dishwasher and start a wash cycle before departing. • Leaving a large number of dirty dishes may require additional cleaning time and could result in an additional cleaning fee. • A little help keeping the kitchen tidy goes a long way and is greatly appreciated! 12) Washer & Dryer • A washer and dryer are available for guest use during your stay. • Please do not overload the machines and ensure all items are removed promptly after use. • For safety and efficient drying, please clean the dryer's lint filter before and after each use. Your help with this simple task is greatly appreciated. Amenities • We provide a starter supply of coffee, toiletries, paper products, and household essentials to help you settle in. • Additional supplies needed during your stay are the responsibility of the guest. 13) Furniture & Property Care • Please do not move indoor furniture outdoors. • Report any accidental damage immediately so we can address it promptly. • Guests are responsible for damage caused beyond normal wear and tear. 14) Safety & Security • Please lock all doors and windows when leaving the property. • Do not tamper with security devices. • Exterior security cameras are located at the front door, parking area, and rear entry doors for property security. 15) Prohibited Items • No illegal activity of any kind. • No fireworks. • No open flames other than normal cooking use. • No firearms handling or discharge on the property. 16) Checkout Before departure, please: • Load and start the dishwasher. • Place used towels in the bathrooms or laundry area. • Dispose of trash in designated containers. • Return beach bands to the hook by the front door. • Lock all doors and windows upon departure. Guests of Bayview Bliss have access to the neighborhood's private community beach, located approximately two blocks from the home. Access to the beach is via a paved asphalt hill that is fairly steep but short in length. The beach itself is only a few steps from the neighborhood road once you reach the bottom of the hill. For guests with limited mobility, vehicles may be driven down to the beach access area for drop-off before returning to the home to park. This allows everyone to enjoy the beach without having to walk the hill. Accessibility & Entry Please note that Bayview Bliss is an elevated home. Guests must use the exterior concrete staircase to access the home, as shown in the listing photos. The main living area, kitchen, dining area, and half bath are located on the first level of the home. All bedrooms and the two full bathrooms are located on the second floor and are accessed by an interior staircase. Guests with mobility concerns should consider this when booking, as the home does not offer elevator access. This area of the Chesapeake Bay is also known for beachcombing and fossil hunting. Guests often enjoy searching the shoreline for shark teeth and other unique treasures that wash ashore. A full-size washer and dryer are available for guest use and are located in the unfinished basement. The basement is primarily a utility space, but guests are welcome to access it for laundry as needed. We provide a starter supply of coffee, toiletries, paper products, and other essential items to help you settle in comfortably. Depending on the length of your stay and usage, additional supplies may need to be purchased by guests. Please note that the fireplace is a propane fireplace and is not operational for guest use. No pets are permitted on the property. A $250 fee will be assessed for any unauthorized pets brought into the home. This policy helps us maintain a clean and comfortable environment for all guests, including those with allergies.
